Dave Chandler
Managing Director
David, upon leaving School after A levels, joined the Police and served in both uniform and CID. Following a career change and funding himself through University and obtaining an honours degree in surveying, he joined a large firm as an integrated electronic security company surveyor.
Following a successful period within this firm, being promoted several times to Business Development Director he met Mike Dankowycz. They both wanted to approach the electronic security industry in a more service led manner and decided to form their own company Cam-Tek and introduce a customer first approach.
David is married with two grown up sons and enjoys all sports including rugby, tennis and golf.
Michael Dankowycz
Operations Director
Michael started his career in the security industry as a trainee CCTV installation engineer working predominantly in the leisure and retail industry. After 5 years, Michael switched from installation to service, working for a large national company. Within this role, Michael completed many high-end CCTV courses which took him around the country dealing with a wide range of CCTV and networking faults. Michael extended his skill set by training in Intruder Alarms and Access Control and progressed to commissioning systems completing many projects for blue chip companies.
With enthusiasm, passion and a determination to progress, Michael went on to be a project engineer, a project manager and an account manager prior to starting Cam-Tek with Dave Chandler, giving him an opportunity to put the things he had learnt over his career into practice from installation, to service through to management.
Married with two children, Michael enjoys all sports, actively playing football, golf and squash.
